The city of Antwerp (Belgium) as a commons – workshop and guided bike tour through different urban commons initiatives

'Green mountain' (Recetas Urbanas, De Coninckplein, Antwerp)

A half day workshop including a bike tour through the city of Antwerp with Koen Wynants, commoner, founder of Commons Lab Antwerp. For activists, community leaders, entrepreneurs, civil servants and local government representatives. Koen will explain the ‘City as commons’ paradigm and provide an overview of local Commons initiatives currently transforming the social, economic, political and technological urban landscape.

The workshop is part of the ULab Hub Antwerpen journey, but is open to anyone active and/or interested in 'the Commons', new governance, sharing/solidarity/new economies, peer to peer programs, food and housing security, organic/regenerative farming, sharing platforms, ethical business, sustainability, renewable energy, earth law, worker owned co-operatives, and sharing cities in a post capitalist future.

This event is organised by Emagine Life, ULab Hub Antwerpen and Commons Lab Antwerp,
