De Henry van de Velde onderzoeksgroep nodigt prof. Ruth Morrow uit op de Faculteit Ontwerpwetenschappen, Universiteit Antwerpen. Ruth Morrow is professor Architectuur aan de ‘School of the Natural and Built Environment’, Queen’s University Belfast, en expert in inclusief design. Ze is oprichter van Street Society, een project dat via live ontwerponderzoek studenten (Bachelor, Masters, PHD) en afgestudeerde architecten in moeilijk bereikbare gemeenschappen in Noord-Ierland plaatst, en ze met de lokale gemeenschap de publieke ruimte helpt vormgeven. This talk/discussion will draw out some lessons, anxieties and tactics of working in critical contexts with critical users.

• WORKSHOP |13.00 – 17.30 | Mutsaardstraat 31, CMU H1.3.  ‘Working with unheard voices’  

During this low threshold workshop, participants get the opportunity to present the challenges regarding the inclusion of vulnerable citizens that they encounter during their work, citizen initiatives, etc. You receive tips and tricks to make your design process more inclusive.
